We screened our documentary, Squidling Around the World, at the Sideshow Hootenanny, where we also debuted a brand-new stunt: the flamethrower chainsaw sword. In this act, Matterz holds a burning plank of wood while Jelly Boy chops it clean in half using a chainsaw mounted to a swallowed sword.

Around the same time, Jelly Boy was featured in The Sideshow Gazette, published by Outside the Talker Press, alongside Aron Smith’s book Natural Born: The Art of Being Human.

Captain Frodo welcomed Jelly Boy as a guest on his podcast, The Way of the Showman, where we talked about the creative process behind building acts, writing books, and making movies.

We also performed at Krampus Nacht at the Fort Mifflin Oddity Market, braving the bitter cold to deliver our stunts in the frost—including swallowing cold steel swords and lying on a frigid bed of nails.
